ABOUT
Our 6,000 square foot home is situated on the outskirts of Anchorage near beautiful Potter's Marsh. This home includes four (4) full rentals - three (3) rooms in the main house and one (1) full cabin behind the main house. We are located at the entrance of the famous and beautiful Turnagain Arm and Cook Inlet - where the start of your Alaskan adventure is mere minutes away. Your hosts are long time, well traveled Alaskans with a sense of adventure all their own, and happy to share their Alaskan knowledge with their guests.

OUR CABIN
For our more rustic and adventurous travelers Mallars House has one (1) cabin rental on site. Our cabin is located at the rear of the main house and has easy access, independent entrances with electronic keypad entry. The cabin is private, with private bathrooms and many amenities, including WiFi, television, Blu-Ray player, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Pictures are above in the gallery.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
GOLF

If you are visiting us for the summer, and want to get in a few rounds, try out the Anchorage Golf Course which is a mere 5 minutes from Mallars House. If you're looking for a 9-hole course or indoor golf dome give Fox Hollow Golf Course a try, also mere minutes from our location.
ZOO
The Alaska Zoo has been around for 50 years and is still one of Anchorage's top attractions. For young and old alike, the zoo is a great place to spend the afternoon in either summer or winter. The Alaska Zoo is a few minute drive from Mallars House.
SOUTH ANCHORAGE
FARMERS MARKET
South Anchorage Farmers Market is Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2p.m. at the O'Malley Sports Center and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Dimond Center Mall south parking lot. Both locations are just a few minutes away.
SKIING

If you are staying with us in the winter months and you enjoy skiing, we have some of the world's best cross country ski trails just outside our front door at Mallars House. If you're a downhill ski enthusiast, then you won't be disappointed with the world renowned Alyeska Ski Resort located a mere 30 minutes away or Hilltop Ski Area just down the road.
POTTER'S MARSH

Potter's Marsh Wildlife Viewing Habitat is a great place to spend the afternoon. Located at the southern end of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge, and a stone's throw from Mallars House, Potter's Marsh is a great place to view not only unique Alaskan wildlife, but breathtaking views of the Turnagain Arm and the Cook Inlet.
